My 1-year Flowdash journey created a large impact on product, growth, and culture: Made the team tighter, stronger, and high-performance; Structured product dev principles and process; Made customers happier, and brought organic subscribers.
Growth has been a challenge. We put $$$ into ads, our website conversion was good, people signed up, but they bounced quick, or they tried but rarely came back. I led the analysis (quantitative + qualitative) and optimized the onboarding, which increased engagement by 4x.
Designed a simple solution in two weeks allowing users to request and update data automatically (been used 1000+ times since). This is a success of the strong collaboration between design, engineering, and our beloved customers. #5 product of the day.
Very Good Table is a no-code database with a custom interface builder. You can build an app from a spreadsheet with no code. We spun off this product from Flowdash in two weeks. #2 product of the day.
As a co-founder at Qokka, I incubated products that use our AI technology. We built a crypto sentiment tool and then pivoted to SaaS. When we got one customer, and 10+ pilots, the market had a crush. We pivoted to review analysis (extension, SaaS) and helped two customers increase conversion by 2x. The startup ran out of money and “failed” but I learned tons. Visit Qokka →
